Madison Petrenko

I was born in Richmond in 1999. My grandfather started the family in garage doors in 1972. My dad took over in 1994. I started running cables for him at 19. I graduated from BCIT's mechanical program. I spent four years (2020–2024) working contract industrial door work in Berlin, Wellington (NZ), and Lisbon — repairing high-cycle commercial doors at logistics depots, transit yards, and one weird three-month stretch at a film studio in Portugal. I moved back to Steveston in 2024. I live ten minutes from the shop.

I have logged roughly 1,240 service calls in Richmond. I drive a 2019 Ford Transit. I know what a torsion spring weighs in my hand before I put it on the scale.

I am not your sales rep. I am the technician who shows up. I write these because I got tired of watching my neighbours get gouged.
